Get out of the lab - get into real systems!
This year's meeting of the priority program Active Microoptics will focus on the development of strategies for the future. This is why two major German research clusters in microsystems engineering are joining forces.
This year's meeting of the priority program Active Microoptics will focus on the development of R&D strategies for the future. This is why two major German research clusters in microsystems engineering, Active Micro-optics and Optical Microsystems are joining forces.
We are particularly pleased to welcome Professor Dr. Hugo Thienpont from Vrije Universiteit Bruxelles who will give a keynote lecture on "Bringing micro-optics from academia to industry" thus sketching the new strategy of international research in micro-optics.
Apart from papers and hardware exhibits, the meeting will focus on discussing the future of micro-optics research. An open space debate will be the central element of the gathering intending to develop new strategies for the cooperation between research and industry.
